1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Decoding the Unknown, operated by Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. ("we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
Decoding the Unknown provides online articles, videos, and related digital content covering mysteries, unexplained phenomena, historical anomalies, and the boundaries of human knowledge. We avoid speculative framing and prioritize explainers grounded in the best available evidence and scientific consensus.
All editorial content on the Site is available free of charge. Newsletter sign-ups are optional and may be cancelled at any time. Merchandise is sold separately through the store, operated by Fourthwall, Inc.
3. Merchandise & Fulfillment
The Decoding the Unknown store is powered by Fourthwall, Inc. Fourthwall is the seller and Merchant of Record for all merchandise transactions — it processes payment (including sales tax), fulfills orders, and handles product support. Your purchase contract for merchandise is with Fourthwall, not with Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o.
- —Merchandise prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Shipping cost is determined dynamically by package weight, dimensions, and destination, and the exact amount is disclosed at checkout before you confirm payment.
- —You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Delivery timelines depend on product type, fulfillment partner, and destination.

4. Refunds & Returns
Because Fourthwall is the Merchant of Record, refunds and returns are handled by Fourthwall. See the Refunds & Returns page for full details.
In brief: catalog products with quality or print defects are eligible for replacement or refund. Made-to-order products do not carry a blanket general or sizing-return right unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Fourthwall's own policies govern the applicable refund process.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms govern the relationship between you and Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o. with respect to the Decoding the Unknown website and editorial content. They are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague.
Merchandise transactions are separately governed by Fourthwall's terms of service.
