Merchandise in the Decoding the Unknown store is sold and fulfilled by Fourthwall, Inc., the Merchant of Record. Fourthwall manages the fulfillment pipeline, shipping partners, and delivery for all store orders.

Most items enter production within 24-48 hours of ordering. Printing, quality control, and packaging typically take 3-5 business days from there. Specialty items — such as embroidery or multi-part prints — can take longer.

US orders: roughly 6-12 business days from order to delivery in total (about 3-5 business days of production plus 3-7 business days of domestic transit).

International orders: roughly 2-4 weeks after production, once customs processing and longer transit times are factored in.

These are estimates, not guarantees — Fourthwall does not guarantee specific delivery dates, and actual timelines depend on product type, fulfillment partner, and destination.

Shipping cost is calculated dynamically at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery destination. The exact shipping amount is disclosed on the checkout page before you confirm payment.

As a general guide, typical first-item shipping cost to the US ranges from about $4.50-$9 for lightweight apparel, prints, and stickers, and $6-$9 for mugs, with higher costs for hoodies and for shipments to Canada, the UK, the EU, and Australia. The exact rate always depends on the specific product, destination, and carrier, and is confirmed at checkout before you pay.

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking link. Tracking can show a temporary pause during the handoff between our fulfillment partner's carrier and the local postal service near delivery — this is normal and does not mean your package is lost.

Most orders shipping to the EU have applicable duty collected at checkout, shown as a line item, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.

Orders to other international destinations may be subject to import duties or customs fees charged by the destination country on arrival. These charges, where they apply, are the customer's responsibility.
